Kanthi from Annie's Elder Care was my father's primary in-home caregiver for the last 4 years of his life until he passed at age 91. My family and I are so grateful for Kanthi's professional services and her companionship throughout this challenging period of our lives -- we are so thrilled to have worked with her and we recommend her highly! She provided the highest level of care for my father, she has an excellent attention to detail, she is compassionate and perceptive, and she offered many excellent suggestions that we chose to implement to improve my father's quality of life and health.
Some of the things Kanthi did that set her apart from other caregivers we have worked with include: Kanthi made nourishing, home-cooked meals to my father's individual tastes; she took interest in his life, career, and experiences and engaged him in meaningful conversations; she is perceptive and noticed small changes in my father's behavior and condition and gently guided us in the direction of increasing the level of care precisely at the right time; she administered his medications on time and accurately, and she was mindful to be moderate and sensitive when administering pain medications that often have side effects, which we greatly appreciated. She is very resourceful, she's a natural problem-solver, she is an excellent communicator and is very easy to work with, she has high standards for all those she works with, and she is immensely trustworthy. On top of being a world-class caregiver, she's a wonderful person and we were delighted to spend so much time getting to know her in our home.
While Kanthi was my father's caregiver, she also went above and beyond and built meaningful relationships with myself and my family. She made it much easier for my siblings and I to care for our father while also caring for ourselves. My family and I respect her and are so grateful for her impact on our lives. Thank you Kanthi!

Kanthi became a true friend to the family during this time, and we all got to know her and to know her work ethics. She is reliable, quick-thinking, experienced, and dedicated. You only need to be around her for a few minutes to know how she genuinely cares for her subject. During the time she took care of my father, the family never had to worry about a thing, because Kanthi would take care of it or notify one of us of the situation if it was out of her realm of responsibility. She arranged all meals, she scheduled doctor appointments (both in-house and at the doctor’s office), she monitored prescriptions and made sure they were current and were administered. When she saw a problem, she came up with a solution. For instance, when it was getting harder for my father to make it to the toilet, she made sure there were handrails and a raised toilet seat for his safety. She was always looking out for the best for him and would do anything for his comfort.
The family was so grateful for the loving care Kanthi provided to our father. Our burden was lightened because we knew he was in good hands with Kanthi. Mind you, she could be “strict” when it came to food intake and daily exercises. Even so, my dad did as she said and was better for it. He loved her dearly.
I highly recommend Kanthi as a care giver. If you have any question, please feel free to contact me at 435-265-6141.
